Draft & Roster

How It Works

NCL is structured from end to end. Each step building toward a live, scored competition night that fans can watch in person or stream globally.

The Draft
High school and college-aged artists enter the draft pool. City-based teams select their rosters across all genre categories. Where you're from is just the beginning.

Quest Assignment
Before each competition night, Quests are assigned through the DigiRoll app and displayed on the big screen. Every team knows what they're performing and being judged on in advance.

Competition Night
Teams go genre-by-genre across 8 rounds. Both teams score each round. A live scoreboard runs throughout the night so the audience tracks every point in real time.

Livestream & Fan Voting
Every NCL event is livestreamed through DigiRoll. Fans tune in from anywhere — and audience participation is built into the scoring experience.

Development & Support
Between competitions, athletes have access to mental health resources, financial literacy programming, and ongoing career developmentso NCL is a launchpad, not just a stage.
Competition Format
8 rounds. Both teams score. Winner decided live.
